Students learn music theory as part of instrumental study.
STUDIO CLASSES
In addition to recitals, students have the opportunity to practice
performing in the less formal setting of a studio class with other
students and the teacher as their audience.
MASTER CLASSES
Students perform for, and are instructed by, a visiting artist/teacher in a public setting.
AUDITIONS/COMPETITIONS
Students have the opportunity to participate in judged auditions
and performances, both competitive and a non-competitive,
sponsored by musical organizations and associations of teachers
on state and national levels.
