The Westerhoff School of Music & Art has a unique spirit. It was founded in September 1998 with a three member faculty and 25 students. Now, ten years later, we have a twenty member faculty and over 350 students. All music faculty members are music conservatory graduates, as well as performing musicians. Importantly, all teachers relate well with children. Music classes are taught to adults, as well as children.
I’m proud to offer all students excellent music and art educations. I realize most students will not pursue music or art as their future professions. However, their educations will prepare them for that eventuality. The school has two 17-week semesters and is further enhanced by a 7-week Summer Music Session. In addition to the Art department’s regular program, it offers four weeklong Art Camp programs during July and August.
